Take A Look At This – Best Netbook Review
It’s recommended for anyone who doesn’t need more load to carry but does need ease of handling and packing, especially if you’re on the move a lot. It’s really nice basic computer, not suitable to do anything really fancy like games but if you are looking for a nice computer for on the go like work, school or just out and about or even convenience at home this is an ideal choice at a good price. Additionally, it cost me $70 to diagnose the problem. My experience with the product, while it worked, was very favorable and I recommended it to many of my friends and co-workers.
I had a little trouble getting this netbook to see the external USB hard drive, and then realized after a lot of poking around, if you have the quick boot option in the bios settings turned on, the netbook will only look to boot from the hard drive or SSD (or LAN I think). In order to boot from an external (USB) device, like for installing another OS, you must have quick boot off. The set up was a cinch, and anyone (even a non-computer person) could turn it on, follow the quick set up guide and be playing with it within minutes. Bought this for my dad thinking it would be ideal to Skype with the parents. The touch pad I find annoying. At times, it’s either too sensitive, and the pointer jumps all over the screen, or not sensitive enough.
I never even have to bring the charger for this netbook with me! It weighs a bit less than three pounds and I hardly notice that I’m carrying it with me. It was a fraction of the price of the iPad and a fraction of the weight of my standard laptop. Its Wi-Fi detection found open networks all over Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nagasaki. Again, no noticeable improvements but at least I can change my background. They keyboard is nicely laid out. In some places where Wi-Fi was not present, I simply connected my Netbook to the Ethernet cable of a local computer (with the permission of the Internet cafe proprietor, of course). I do like the Toshiba NB505Toshiba NB505-N508OR 10.1-Inch Netbook (Orange) very much, quite similar to the HP Mini 110 I previously owned and used.
It saved me from having to watch Vanessa Hudgens in Beastly. Just an aside, I have a bone to pick with Amazon constantly changing prices. Small, lightweight, flexible and cheap were the watchwords. After reading a bunch of reviews, I settled on this Toshiba (including a 2 GB chip upgrade).
I installed the freeware Faststone Image Viewer to review my Canon RAW (.CR2) images. I replaced the Office Starter suite with Open Office. Now that I have had a chance to use and play with my new netbook I know I made the right choice and I couldn’t be more pleased. I needed a device to store pictures on a long vacation so I looked for offline storage devices. Also, weight is less than 3 pounds, not 6 pounds like my laptop. I love my new TOSHIBA Notebook.
I cannot understand why this decision was made. HOME GLASS REPAIR.
