i’m about to get my HP notebook nxt month…i’m kinda excited:-) my mom bought it abroad..i want to know a lot of stuff about my coming HP notebook before i have it next month…but i don’t know the model yet…all i know is that its HP..and it’s a notebook….i asked my mom but she don’t want me to know yet…she said its a surprise…do you think guys my mom’s choice of buying an HP is a good idea?

stay away from dell too, i bought a desktop a year and a half ago, ive barely downloaded anything on it other than msn, firefox, and a few games, and its already fucking up, its so much slower than before, and loud as hell

That Dell may be overheating…
A company I did some work for had a load of P4 Dells, one of which had a dead motherboard due to corrosion which was a design flaw with that model.
Always get desktops custom built pref by someone who builds their own that you know, or go to a decent comp-shop that will do it for you.
you need 512mb for vista home premium not 3gb
(or maybe 1gig)

I have this notebook, but 15 days after the warranty expires it stopped working. Reason: overheating. I never did bad use of notebook, 99% of times that I used was over a table, the notebook never fell… nothing. Now I have a lot of HP’s trash at home. Looked like that existed one clock bomb inside my notebook that will explode after warranty expires.
HP sucks.

I just realized that it’s the same laptop my dad uses… I couldn’t really tell from the black trim monitor. My dad’s silver. ;o
thats nice. the only thing that would make it much much better if it had an intel core 2 duo mobile processor
