Maximum Conversion Article Marketing
Internet marketers know that one of the most popular ways to drive traffic to their websites is through article marketing. But merely being aware of that is only part of the equation. And having the ability to write successful articles is another matter. But it’s really interesting because very many IM marketers, for whatever reason, don’t want to take the time to learn this, so they pay other people to write them. That’s all well and good, but can you afford to outsource?
Good articles can be expensive! But if you’re like most people, you only need some solid suggestions that will get you on your way to writing excellent articles. And that’s why you’re here – we’ll show you how to get started, today.
First, remember that you don’t want to sell anything with your articles. The sole purpose of your article is to compel people to click on your link. Just be sure to leave the selling to whatever copy or other content you have on your site. An additional function of your articles is to try to educate readers a little about your product/offer. You see, you’re also trying to demonstrate that you’re some kind of expert in your niche. People really need to be able to trust you. No need to sell. That comes later. Concentrate your efforts on proving your own expertise in your chosen topic when you write your articles. If they get a warm enough fuzzy about you, then they will click on your link at the bottom.
It’s imperative that your introduction text is very clear. It’s unnecessary to write a long introduction. Ok, so this section is to introduce the topical area and touches on what will be revealed in the article. People are different, and some writers will take forever to get this part done. And others are the opposite and are very brief. Your goal with the introduction is to also compel the reader to naturally lead into the next paragraph. It’s just that writers are different, of course, and some will prefer to express in shorter sentences. Others prefer to tell a story. If you write enough, you’ll soon understand what you like and works best for you.
Use short paragraphs in your articles. Most people remember English class and writing a paragraph for each major idea. That is something you can forget about here. You probably know, because you’re like this, that people on the net are overloaded with information, so they want it fast, furious, and right now. Using short paras will help them, and it also will not annoy them which will help your article get read. You should also include line breaks between your paragraphs. Online readers always skim and scan, and indenting only makes that harder to do.
Unfortunately if your articles are not well written, you run the risk of alienating your visitors and turning off potential buyers before they know what you have to offer. It’s common sense plus business sense to take the time to learn how to write effective articles. If you do this, they will come – and you’ll be rewarded.
